FAQ

General

Yes — you can create as many forms as you like, tailored to different purposes. Each form can have its own questions, settings, workflows, and branding if needed. Whether it’s for pupillage applications, internal roles, mini-pupillage, or award entries, you can manage everything from a single dashboard.

Yes — this service is completely platform-agnostic. Your forms are hosted externally on our secure platform, so it doesn’t matter what technology your main website is built on. You simply link to the forms (or embed them) from your existing site, and everything works seamlessly without needing to install anything.

No — everything is hosted and managed by us. You don’t need to install any software, set up a subdomain, or touch your servers at all. We handle the hosting, updates, backups, and performance so you can focus on using the forms, not maintaining them.

Absolutely. Each form has its own unique, branded URL (e.g. apply.yourchambers.com) which you can link to from anywhere on your site — whether that’s your main navigation, a call-to-action button, or a job listing. It’s a smooth transition for applicants, and keeps everything under your domain.

Yes, you can embed any of your forms into your existing site using a simple iframe. This means the form appears directly on your page, maintaining your site’s navigation and layout — while still being powered and managed externally on our platform.

Yes — security is baked into every layer of the platform. All forms are served over HTTPS, data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and submissions are stored in a secure, access-controlled environment. You can also enable optional features like two-factor authentication for additional peace of mind.

All data is stored securely in the UK, in compliance with GDPR and other relevant data protection laws. We use reputable cloud infrastructure with strict security and redundancy measures in place, ensuring your applicants’ information is both safe and accessible when you need it.

Yes — the platform is fully GDPR compliant. We only collect the data you ask for, and you remain the data controller at all times. We provide tools for data access, correction, and deletion, and can offer a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) on request. Submissions are securely stored and never shared with third parties.

Form features

Yes — your forms and dashboards can be customised to reflect your chambers’ branding. This includes your logo, colours, common fonts, and even a custom subdomain (e.g. apply.yourchambers.com). From an applicant’s perspective, it feels like a seamless partner to your own website.

Yes — you have complete control over the questions on each form. You can add text fields, dropdowns, multiple choice options, file uploads, date pickers, and more. You can also set required fields, conditional logic, and validation rules to match your exact needs.

Yes — applicants can securely upload documents such as CVs, cover letters, transcripts, or anything else you require. You can control which file types are accepted, set size limits, and decide where the files are stored — including direct integration with your cloud storage.

Yes — a PDF version of each submission can be automatically generated and saved or emailed. You can download these individually or in bulk, and they can include your branding. They’re useful for offline review, printing, or archiving purposes.

Yes — you can export all submissions to CSV at any time, either per form or in bulk. This makes it easy to analyse data, share with colleagues, or import into other systems like Excel, Airtable, or your internal databases.

Yes — you can send bulk emails to applicants directly from the platform. This is ideal for status updates, interview invitations, reminders, or general announcements. You can personalise messages with merge tags and filter recipients based on form responses or application stage.

Yes — you can set up automatic integrations to push submission data into Google Sheets, Airtable, or Notion in real time. This allows you to use your preferred tools for tracking, reporting, or collaboration, without any manual data entry.

Yes — uploaded files can be automatically saved to your preferred cloud storage service, including Google Drive, OneDrive, or Dropbox. You can organise submissions into folders, maintain access control, and keep everything backed up and centralised in your own environment.

Workflows & moderation

Moderation workflows let you define a structured review process for each application. Submissions can move through multiple stages — such as initial screening, shortlisting, interviews, and final decision — with different reviewers or teams handling each stage. You can customise the flow to match how your chambers already works, and everything is tracked centrally.

Yes — you can assign multiple moderators to each application, either all at once or at different stages of the workflow. Each reviewer gets their own dashboard showing the applications they need to review, and you can control whether they see all responses or only certain parts.

Yes — you can enable anonymous review modes that hide personally identifying information from moderators during specific stages of the process. This is ideal for blind assessments, ensuring fairness and reducing bias in decision-making. You control which fields are hidden and when.

Yes — each moderator has their own dashboard where they can view and manage the applications assigned to them. The dashboard shows key information at a glance, highlights which applications need action, and provides quick access to full submissions, comments, and moderation tools.

Yes — every action taken within a workflow is logged, including who reviewed an application, added comments, changed statuses, or sent messages. This activity log helps you maintain oversight, ensure accountability, and refer back to key decisions if needed.

Yes — moderators can leave internal comments on each application, which are visible only to other reviewers. This makes it easy to discuss candidates, flag issues, or share notes — all within the platform, without needing to rely on emails or external documents.

Yes — you can set up automatic email notifications to keep applicants informed at every stage, such as when their application is received, shortlisted, or declined. You can customise the wording, timing, and triggers to match your communication style and process.

Yes — applicants can optionally be given access to a secure dashboard where they can track the status of their application, view messages, and download any relevant documents. This reduces incoming queries and gives applicants a more transparent, professional experience.

Customisation & support

Yes — we offer a setup service to help you get up and running quickly. We can build your initial forms, configure workflows, set up notifications and integrations, and apply your branding. Whether you need a little help or full setup, we can tailor the support to your needs.

Absolutely. You can start on the Forms plan and upgrade to Workflows at any time — your forms, data, and settings will stay intact. Once upgraded, you’ll be able to add moderation workflows, dashboards, and other advanced features without rebuilding anything.

We offer responsive, human support by email — and we prioritise fast turnaround for anything affecting live forms or application deadlines. If something urgent comes up, we’ll act quickly to resolve it. We also monitor system health and uptime, so most issues are caught before they become a problem.
